500 times faster than Pocket PC serial ports, which run at only 19.2 kbps.

or GPS map files, or back-up or restore your device. Plus, with the
Socket special Ethernet software for Windows Mobile, you can configure your
device to automatically start synchronizing data whenever you insert the
card.
Universal Compatibility
The Socket CompactFlash Type I card work in Type I and II CF slots of
Pocket PC. The ultra thin Type I form factor also fits into a standard PC Card
adapter, so you can use it in the PC Card slot of compatible Windows Mobile
devices. Additionally, because the Socket card can use either 3.3 or 5 volt
supplies, it’s the world’s first universal mobile
